Artist's Comments
These were a commissions. I was asked to make a pair of pickle earrings about and inch long. Now that they're made I can think of a few different ways I could have done them but I'm quite happy with the way they turned out so they'll stay the way they are.
They are made out of Sculpey 3 polymer clay. These ones are glazed with the sculpey's gloss glaze witch I don't normally use anymore. They are attached with head pins running all the way down the pickle and covered at the bottom. The head pin is attached to surgical steal fish hook style hooks.
