A look into the life of Soup/Me Bitching

Moo! Dose anyone other than me ever randomly say animal sounds? Or maybe not so randomly? Some of my friends and I make odd sounds to say hello instead of just saying hi. I don't know when we started doing this or why. I've been told I started it during high school but I don't really remember doing so. I do believe my friends that it's my fault but I do find it really odd that I can't remember being the catalytic. Perhaps it's just because I do a lot of odd things and I did so many more back then, making a odd sound just wasn't mark worthy. Ah well, just a random thought.

Well, I'll be leaving for Aki con at around 7 or so cause I'm going to be stoping at a friends on the way and I always stay much longer than intended. I don't intend to be home till Sunday night, though if things don't go as intended I may be home sooner. I'm a bit worried about falling asleep at my table because I woke up at about 11pm and I don't think I'll be able to fall asleep again before I leave. Ah well I've stayed up 25 hours fine before, I'll just have to eat really healthy today and not over exert myself.

I don't know what I'm going to do till 7, I really don't think I'm going to be able to sleep. I think I'm going to go do a little cleaning. Maybe I'll be on here again gibbering about nothing.

Wow, it's been a really long time since I updated this section. I guess I haven't really been on Deviant much or even the internet for that matter. My laptop is currently out of commission. The charger port has disconnected itself from the motherboard. I talked to the guy at best buy and since my warranty is up it will cost 300ish to fix. So that's a no. My boyfriend found a tutorial to fix it myself. It's a really good tutorial, very detailed with lots of really clear pictures, but I don't have a soldering iron so I can't even try that till find one to borrow or buy one. Till then I'm using his desktop. When I did have the warranty on my laptop I took it in and got it fixed for the exact same problem 3 times. I guess the moral of that story is never buy a laptop, yes there more convenient but it's much harder to fix them yourself, you can't really update them the way you can a desktop and they never come with the proper amount of ram.

Other then the lack of my poor little laptop life has been good. I fell so at home here. There's lot's to do but things that use to fell like chores are enjoyable now. The only thing that ever really feels like a chore is getting the boys to do some chores. When I refer to 'the boys' I mean my boyfriend who I live with (and I'm sure is reading this, Stop it) and our male roommate, who I have know for the last 11 years. I really am glad to be home but I know if I hadn't of moved so much trying to get away from this place I wouldn't be the person I am now the person that loves this place.

Okay, I'm sure I could ramble all day about nothing but I really should get to work. I am going to be making a bunch of fall/Halloween charms today. Starting tomorrow I'm going to be having a special sale. Anyone who orders anything from my shop will get a free charm. I'm trying to raise money to be able to attend AkiCon. I have my table and my badge already but I don't have the money for a hotel room. I really like going and selling my stuff at conventions it's really enjoyable and it lets me pay the power bill. If I can make just a little before the 6th of next month I can drive up the morning of and get a really cheep hotel further away and that will be fine. I'm also going to go to people I know and see if there's any yard work or wood staking or anything like that I can do. So I'll go and be productive now and try to remember to update this a lot more often.

Hello! How is everyone? I'm doing great. We just got back from Toppenish. I was thinking about just staying there this week to clean and put stuff away and stuff but there's stuff that needs to be done here too. So I'll be packing, cleaning and making sure the kitties get rid of the last of there flees. Well I do have some clay stuff to do tonight and then I'll probably do some garden planing before I go to bed.(I'm obsessed with my future garden.)

I've heard about Zeitgeist but never watched it. Thanks for the link.

Ew! mold is so nasty. I had a nasty mold problem in my old bathroom. It just would not go away. Bleach will vaporize that stuff, (my friend calls it a "microbial genocide") so hopefully that will help. You might want to buy a woodworkers mask (the type to prevent inhaling sawdust) when you do clean that out. Good luck.

Harvest Moon is so awesome. Seriously.

I really like the Zeitgeists but they do make you nice and mad at modern society.

I used vinegar and borax dissolved in warm water. It worked really well and you don't even need gloves. I've used bleach in the past when I had a little mold in my old apartments bathroom. It took a lot of scrubbing and made my hands split even though I was waring gloves. I have really sensitive hands. But I'm trying to remove as many chemicals from my life as I can so I use a lot of hippie cleaning solutions.

I know. I was borrowing Tree of Tranquility from a friend, I really need to buy it.

I'm skeptical about things like that because I question their evidence. I mean, you can make as many claims as you want with any sort of flimsy evidence, but if you don't consider the opposing side in some way, your argument ends up flat more often than not. For example, my boyfriend and I were listening to conservative radio for entertainment, and we both noticed that the man who was absolutely bashing Obama, democrats, liberals, etc. had absolutely no evidence for it.

Hippie cleaning solutions work for me! Nothing better to wash your windows with than good old water and vinegar.
:iconsoupisgreen:
I think it's good to be skeptical of all information that is "presented" to you. But in terms of Zeitgeists it seems fairly reliable to ME. I have done lots of research about many of the issues in both movies (before and after watching) and I'm inclined to believe much of the information presented. I do however admit my views are skewed to believe the social elite of the world are not good people.

I know vinegar and backing soda are the most useful things ever!
